(There is no need to book the community class held at the park). Classes have limited places and social distancing rules apply. Please bring your own mat, (and props if you wish) to classes. Some mats and props will be available at the studio for your use. Please don’t attend classes if you have any symptoms of illness.
We're delighted to offer weekly classes, which are open to any person of any level. These classes are designed for you to delve deeper into certain aspects of yogic to invigorate your holistic journey.
Yin Yoga
Tuesdays 5.15pm
Yin Yoga is a deeply meditative and restorative practice designed to help you slow down and connect with your body on a profound level. Unlike more dynamic styles of yoga, Yin Yoga focuses on long-held, passive postures that target the deep connective tissues, such as ligaments, joints, and fascia.
In this class, you'll experience poses held for several minutes at a time, allowing your body to gently release tension and your mind to find stillness. The emphasis is on surrendering to each posture, using props like bolsters and blocks for support, and letting gravity do the work. This practice is perfect for anyone looking to cultivate patience, mindfulness, and a deeper sense of calm.

Slow Flow/Yin

Discover the perfect blend of movement and stillness with our Slow Flow and Vin-Yin Yoga class, designed for beginners to intermediate practitioners.
Start with a gentle Hatha-inspired flow to warm up your body, build strength, and improve flexibility through a series of mindful, flowing poses. Then, transition into the calming practice of Yin yoga, where you'll settle into deep, restorative postures on the mat, allowing for extended holds that enhance relaxation and release tension.

Class is suitable for beginners to intermediate.
Cost is $10 cash
Location: Gold Coast Regional Botanical Gardens, 230 Ashmore Rd, Benowa.(Meet: behind children's playground, past the bamboo, water side under tree).
Please bring your own mat. Feel free to bring your own props (bolster/pillow, block/cushion) if desired. As the class is outside, please bring anything that will make you more comfortable - sun protection, insect spray, etc. Good weather conditions dependant.
